Welcome to the students network of the University of Stuttgart
Who we are
WH-Netz e.V. is a student club and has been assigned the job of doing the administrative work related to the operation of the Dorm Network. All our members work voluntarily without a salary (i.e. we do not get paid for our work).
According to the agenda, the mission of our club is not only the administration of the network, but also technology transfer. Especially, we see ourselves as a place where the theoretical knowledge acquired at university can be applied in practice and broadened on a free basis.
The technical aspects of our work range along all aspects of network administration and Free Software Engineering. Also, there are many organisational issues to be worked on.

We replaced all networking-switches in Straußäcker 2 today from 10 am until 6 pm. Because of this all the inhabitants in this dormitory lost their networking connection for some time....
